Naver announced that it will launch the 'Be Local' campaign on Naver Map, introducing Korea's tourist attractions to foreign tourists starting on the 14th.
The campaign will run from this day until May 13. Users who set the language of the Naver Map application to a foreign language are the target.
The 'Be Local' campaign introduces popular restaurants, cafes, fashion, and multicultural spaces in tourist areas such as Myeongdong, Seongsu, Itaewon, and Hannam-dong.
By clicking the 'Be Local' tab on Naver Map, users can see at a glance the food, sights, and activities most saved by Korean users in their 20s and 30s.
Promotions in collaboration with fashion, cosmetics, and lifestyle brands preferred by foreign tourists visiting Korea will also be carried out.
Naver noted that it will improve the Naver Pay service in the first half of this year to allow foreign users to use Naver reservation, ordering, and payment more conveniently.
