KRAFTON's Flyway Games announced on the 7th that it has officially launched the new PC game 'Commander Quest' on the global game distribution platform Steam.
'Commander Quest' is a strategy game depicting inter-faction wars in a fantasy world featuring humans, dwarves, orcs, and dragons. It combines various genres, including deck-building card games, real-time strategy simulations, and roguelikes, to provide a unique gameplay experience.
The official version adds new commanders, stages, and final boss content. 'Jeanne d'Arc' appears as the new commander for the human faction, while 'Jan Steelheart' joins the dwarf faction, with new stages opening up to battle against powerful orc factions. As the stages progress, the scale of troops and battle methods diversify, making strategic deck composition and artifact selection increasingly important. Clearing the final stage allows players to challenge a high-difficulty final boss battle.
'Commander Quest' has been continuously improving its gameplay based on user feedback since it released a demo version in March last year. In October of the same year, it participated in the Steam Next Fest, reaching a peak 6th place on the 'Most Downloaded Demo' chart and a peak 7th place on the 'Daily Active Demo Player Count' chart.
Kim Soo-young, the head of Flyway Games, noted, 'Commander Quest is a game that the developers at Flyway Games have created together with the users, and I thank everyone for their support leading up to the official launch,' adding, 'We plan to continue showcasing good games in the future.'
'Commander Quest' supports Korean, English, Japanese, Russian, and simplified Chinese, and to celebrate the official launch, it can be purchased on Steam at a 20 percent discounted price until 5 p.m. on the 18th.
