On May 2 (local time), Roblox announced it has launched three additional parental control features.
First, with the friend management feature, parents can block individuals on their child's friend list and manage communications to prevent that account from sending or receiving messages. Additionally, if parents believe someone on their child's friend list is violating Roblox policies, they can report that individual.
A blocking feature for experiences has also been added. Parents could already review or change the content levels of their child's account within Roblox. Now, parents can block their child's access to specific games and experiences, allowing for more detailed management of what their child can participate in.
Roblox also noted it will provide more detailed screen time information. For instance, parents can now sort the 20 experiences their child spent the most time on in the past week by total playtime. If there are experiences that parents wish to restrict access to, they can block those experiences as well.
