NHN announced on the 3rd that it illuminated a giant blue light in the shape of a light bulb on the exterior of its Pangyo headquarters, conveying a message of social solidarity in celebration of "World Autism Day."

April 2 is designated by the United Nations (UN) as "World Autism Day," a day to raise social awareness about autism spectrum disorder and to support the lives of autistic individuals and their families. NHN expressed its solidarity with autistics by creating a blue light effect on the building’s exterior using internal lighting and louvers from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on this day.

NHN has consistently participated in this campaign since 2019 and is joining efforts this year with more than 150 major landmarks nationwide.

Additionally, NHN is actively participating in various social value campaigns utilizing its headquarters. On March 23, it joined the "Earth Hour" environmental campaign led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) by turning off all lights for one hour, and plans to take part in an energy-saving blackout campaign on "Earth Day" on April 22.

NHN also participates in the "Green Light Campaign" for the promotion of organ donation culture every September during "Life Sharing Week," illuminating a green heart light on the exterior of its building to convey the significance of life respect and sharing.

An NHN official noted, "Although it may be a small activity, we are consistently participating in various campaigns to raise awareness of environmental protection and interest in our neighbors along with the local community," adding, "We will continue to engage in activities that can tangibly contribute to social issues and environmental protection."
