Nintendo announced on the 3rd that it will release the next-generation console 'Nintendo Switch 2' on June 5. The price is 648,000 won, and the set that includes 'Mario Kart World' is priced at 688,000 won.

The Switch 2 features a larger 7.9-inch display than its predecessor, supports up to 120 frames per second and 1080p resolution, and can output up to 4K in TV mode. The storage capacity has increased eightfold from the previous model to 256GB. The dedicated controller 'Joy-Con 2' can be used like a mouse with a magnetic detachable method, enhancing durability and operability.

Additionally, the 'Game Chat' feature utilizing a microphone and the C button allows for voice chatting, screen sharing, and video chatting. If a separate camera is connected, users can stream their face along with the game screen. The Switch 2 is backward compatible with existing Switch games, and some popular titles will be re-released with enhanced graphics and performance.

Launch titles include 'Mario Kart World', 'Elden Ring', 'Hades 2', 'Street Fighter 6', and 'Borderlands 4', and Nintendo is expected to hold an experience event at Goyang KINTEX from May 31 for two days.
