NEOWIZ announced on the 3rd that it will hold 'Go-yeon-jeon GameDev 2025' at its Pangyo headquarters on the 4th.
According to NEOWIZ, the inaugural 'Go-yeon-jeon GameDev 2025' aims to serve as a platform for future creators with dreams of game development to share ideas and development experiences and provides feedback to each other.
Korea University and Yonsei University’s game development clubs 'CAT&DOG' and 'PoolC' will display a total of 16 games. Preliminary judging has been conducted considering intellectual property (IP) competitiveness, game fun, and genre originality, and awards including the grand award, finest award, and excellence award will be selected. The popular award will be determined through on-site voting. The final winning school will be announced by compiling the results of the four award categories.
An official from NEOWIZ said, “I hope that through Go-yeon-jeon GameDev 2025, university students will demonstrate the development skills they have honed,” and added, “In the future, NEOWIZ will continue to provide various support to help future game developers achieve their dreams.”
