SK C&C announced on the 1st that it has begun its 'carbon-neutral practice ESG (environmental, social, governance) integrated consulting business' with Korea Electric Terminal, an automotive electronic parts manufacturer.

According to the company, this ESG integrated consulting business is being conducted to proactively respond to the mandatory ESG disclosures both domestically and internationally, and to secure competitiveness in global ESG evaluations.

SK C&C will deploy digital ESG experts from its digital consulting organization, Accenture Partners, to carry out specific consulting tasks including ▲establishing carbon-neutral goals ▲responding to Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) evaluations ▲publishing sustainability management reports.

SK C&C noted that it provides systematic support to meet global disclosure standards and stakeholder demands through a 'dual materiality assessment' that analyzes the financial impact of external environmental and social factors on corporations and the impact of corporate activities on society and the environment.
