Wemade announced on the 31st that it has launched the 'Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP' project.
'Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP' is a point system of the KLPGA Tour that started in 2023 and is now in its third year. Players accumulate WEMIX points based on their final results in each tournament, and the final rankings of the season are determined based on the accumulated points. In 2023, player Im Jin-hee ranked first, while player Yoon In-a secured the top spot in 2024.
Wemade will award 100,000 WEMIX to the player ranked first in the WEMIX points ranking after the season ends. The WEMIX to be used as prize money will be purchased from the market.
Players who rank high in the final standings will be able to participate in the 'WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP' Grand Final, which will be held at the end of this year.
The KLPGA Tour 2025 season began with the opening match held in Phuket, Thailand, from March 13 to 16, and has entered a process lasting approximately nine months.
The opening match concluded with athlete Park Bo-gyeom's victory. Currently, the WEMIX points ranking lists Park Bo-gyeom in the first position, Ko Ji-u in the second, and Lee Ga-young in the third.
