Com2uS announced on the 31st that it has signed a global publishing agreement for the 'All-Knowing Reader Perspective' intellectual property (IP) game currently being developed by the game developer Offbit.
Com2uS has made a strategic investment in Offbit along with this contract, establishing a close partnership. Through this, it has secured the global publishing rights for the large-scale content IP 'All-Knowing Reader Perspective' game currently in development and is preparing to service the global market, including South Korea.
'All-Knowing Reader Perspective' is a web novel by author Singyong, featuring protagonist Kim Reader progressing toward the desired ending in a world where the novel they have been reading for over 10 years has become reality. The cumulative view count of the web novel exceeds 200 million, and the webtoon of the same name, serialized since 2020, has recorded over 2 billion cumulative views worldwide. It is currently being adapted into an animation by a well-known Japanese production company and is also being developed into a film in South Korea.
As a powerful IP that has secured a global fandom, expectations for its gamification are also rising. Com2uS is developing the game based on this IP as a blockbuster title through collaboration with Offbit, planning to consolidate development and business capabilities to secure global competitiveness.
Offbit is a new game company founded by CEO Moon Seong-bin in May 2024, characterized by having solid development capabilities with key personnel from Netmarble. CEO Moon previously founded Blue Pepper, developing 'Sticker Shooting Star' and 'Run and Hit', and led projects such as 'Magumagu 2013', 'All Together Dungeon King', 'KON', and 'Tower of God: New World' at Netmarble. Key personnel, including art director Ahn Seong-won from 'The Seven Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS', are also participating in the development.
Com2uS is accelerating its global market expansion by securing various well-known IPs along with its own IPs such as 'Summoners War' and 'Baseball Game lineup'.
