Oracle announced on the 27th that it is offering NVIDIA AI Enterprise on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

NVIDIA AI Enterprise is NVIDIA's end-to-end cloud-native software platform that accelerates data science and simplifies the development and deployment of AI available in operational environments. NVIDIA AI Enterprise supports sovereign AI and is available anywhere on OCI's distributed cloud to ensure that corporate customers can easily access NVIDIA's accelerated, secure, and scalable platform; corporations can also utilize it through existing Oracle Universal Credits.

Unlike other NVIDIA AI Enterprise offerings available via the marketplace, OCI reduces service deployment time through a native delivery method via the OCI Console, enabling direct billing and customer support. Users can quickly and easily access over 160 training and inference AI tools, including NVIDIA NIM™ microservices, a collection of optimized cloud-native inference microservices that support the simplification of generative AI model deployment. Additionally, end-to-end training and inference capabilities can be combined with OCI services that support application building and data management across various distributed cloud deployment options.

Oracle supports rapid and straightforward deployment of NVIDIA AI Enterprise through the OCI Console to Oracle services such as OCI public regions, government cloud and sovereign cloud, OCI Dedicated Region, Oracle Alloy, and OCI Compute Cloud@Customer OCI Roving Edge Devices.

Customers can use NVIDIA AI Enterprise across OCI's distributed cloud to meet security, sovereignty, regulation, and compliance requirements applicable to the development, deployment, and operation of the enterprise AI stack. NVIDIA AI Enterprise is expected to be provided as deployment images for GPU instances and Kubernetes clusters using OCI Kubernetes Engine.

OCI AI Blueprints enable rapid manual execution of AI workloads by making direct decisions regarding software stack or infrastructure to support acceleration of AI deployment. Using OCI AI Blueprints, which provide clear hardware recommendations for NVIDIA GPUs, NIM microservices, and pre-packaged integrated visibility tools, can reduce GPU job durations for scaled deployment from weeks to just minutes.

Karan Batta, senior vice president in charge of Oracle OCI, said, "Oracle supports customers in developing and deploying AI solutions on OCI as quickly as possible," adding, "By leveraging NVIDIA AI Enterprise on OCI, customers can enjoy the benefits of the latest AI infrastructure and software innovations while flexibly utilizing the various deployment options offered by distributed cloud. Customers can accelerate sovereign AI by enhancing their control over operations, location, and security while leveraging best-in-class AI solutions."
