Raonsecure announced on the 26th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for business cooperation with 3ALogics regarding the digital product passport (DPP) project at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.

Raonsecure and 3ALogics plan to collaborate on various tasks, including ▲joint research and development of DPP technology ▲integration and development of solutions combining NFC/RFID tags with blockchain-based digital ID systems ▲joint response to and collaboration in domestic and international DPP markets.

DPP is a digital identity that contains digital data in QR codes, barcodes, or NFC from the production to the sale, use, and disposal of products. Consumers can use the DPP to check information about the product's ingredients, components, origin, recyclability, ease of repair, carbon footprint, and the content of recycled materials. Starting in 2027, it will become mandatory for all products and services entering the European Union (EU) market.
