Supercoder announced on the 26th that it unveiled an AI interviewer to automate the hiring process at the 'Microsoft Startup Connection 2025' event held at COEX in Seoul on the 25th.

Supercoder is the first domestic platform company for hiring overseas developers, founded by CEO Choi Jae-woong in 2021 with investments from co-founder Lee Taek-gyeong, who is a former Oracle information technology (IT) engineer.

Supercoder's AI interviewer is designed to address the common issues of time waste and evaluation bias in the talent acquisition process. It is characterized by enhanced accuracy and efficiency in hiring, based on structured questions designed by hiring experts and fair evaluation criteria. Supercoder's AI interviewer solution automatically analyzes candidates' resumes and generates tailored interview questions accordingly. It generates follow-up questions in real time based on responses, and upon completion of the interview, corporations receive video recordings of the interviews and comprehensive evaluation reports of the candidates. This enables prompt and objective decision-making.

Choi Jae-woong, CEO of Supercoder, noted that the introduction of the AI interviewer could lead to a 70% reduction in expense and an expected 60% saving in time, stating, "We plan to expand our services in the future to include AI recruitment agents, multilingual interview features, and onboarding automation."

Meanwhile, the MS Startup Connection event is a large-scale startup tech conference hosted by Microsoft, attended by many global AI experts and startup officials, including Thomas Domic, CEO of GitHub. In addition to Supercoder, 14 startups including Upstage, Galaxy Corporation, Dunamu, and Millie's Library showcased their use cases of generative AI.
