LG Uplus Bolt Up (hereinafter Bolt Up) announced on the 25th that it has newly unveiled its business vision and launched a dedicated service app with improved usability.

The newly unveiled business vision of Bolt Up is "Charging the future of electric vehicles with eco-friendly energy," which embodies a commitment to contribute to a better environment and future beyond merely supplying power to electric vehicles. To achieve this vision, Bolt Up has also established an execution strategy that includes "acting quickly, collaborating, and innovating with a customer-centric approach."

In line with the new vision declaration, Bolt Up has renewed its brand identity (Brand Identity, hereinafter BI). The newly revealed V-shaped symbol represents a "pin" indicating charging station locations and a "path" necessary for movement. The symbol and logo feature a blended color of yellow, symbolizing electricity, and green, symbolizing eco-friendliness, known as "Bolt Up Lime."

At the same time, Bolt Up has launched a new app that improves usability, allowing customers to conveniently use its services. It features simplified procedures with functions such as easy login and easy payment, along with an intuitive improvement in UI and UX.

Additionally, it now provides real-time status updates for each charging station so that customers can check the availability of charging without needing to visit in person. For available charging stations, precise location details including the number of building floors and entrances are provided to minimize customer inconvenience.

In the future, Bolt Up plans to offer a 24-hour alarm service to ensure that customers can use its services with greater peace of mind. It will collaborate with vehicle manufacturers to monitor real-time information on battery levels, cell temperatures, voltage, and current, and it will notify customers immediately in case of any anomalies through artificial intelligence (AI)-based analysis.

To celebrate the launch of the new app, Bolt Up will hold a fare discount promotion until the 30th of next month. Customers who install the new app and register as members can receive a fare discount benefit a total of five times, up to a maximum of 2,000 won.

Yeom Sang-pil, CEO of LG Uplus Bolt Up, noted, "Through this vision declaration and app launch, Bolt Up will accelerate its efforts to become a leading business in the era of electric vehicle transition," and added, "We will secure an eco-friendly charging network, innovate customer experiences, and ultimately achieve leadership in the EV ecosystem."
