POSCO DX announced on the 25th that it has developed and applied a control system for unit equipment in industrial sites called POSMaster-HMI for Windows.

POSMaster consists of a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) that controls industrial equipment, along with an HMI (Human Machine Interface) that monitors the PLC's operational status and supports operators in directly controlling the equipment. It has been developed and applied in the field by POSCO DX.

The upgraded POSMaster-HMI allows users to select the equipment to control, configure the control screen, and add logic to operate the system directly. It was developed for Windows, following the existing Linux-based version, which had a higher user preference.

POSCO DX improved the maximum performance of the server information management for the Windows-based HMI from 5,000 tags to 65,000 tags, and enhanced functionality to allow users to program directly by accessing heterogeneous databases. Additionally, if users set alarms for motor on/off and temperature exceedance, they can easily identify the location of that motor through the HMI.
