LG Display announced on the 25th that it has received 'i-Safe 3.0' certification from the global certification body UL Solutions, making it the first in the industry.

This certification is awarded when the display's color reproduction rate meets or exceeds 90% of the DCI-P3 standard, while both the 'circadian rhythm protection index' and 'blue light blocking index' are above 35.

The verification results indicate that all OLED TV and monitor panels produced by LG Display recorded a circadian rhythm protection index of 60 and a blue light blocking index of 40, minimizing the impact on the human body.

This is similar to the level of screen protection films attached to electronic devices such as monitors and smartphones.

Additionally, LG Display's OLED TV and monitor panels have gained certifications such as 'flicker-free' and 'reflection-free' from global certification organizations, highlighting their user-friendly displays.

Yoon Soo-young, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of LG Display, said, 'This verification signifies that an objective and credible institution has established a new standard for customers to choose human-friendly displays,' and added, 'LG Display will continuously provide differentiated customer value through relentless challenges and innovations.'
