On the 24th, Kakao Games' blockchain game development subsidiary Metaborah held a shareholders' meeting and appointed co-CEOs Lim Young-jun and Choi Se-hoon.

CEO Lim Young-jun previously worked at NHN and from 2018 served as the head of business at Ground X, a blockchain technology company affiliated with Kakao. He joined Kakao Games in 2021 and has led the business expansion of the blockchain content platform BORA as the head of the mid-core game and Web3 business division.

CEO Choi Se-hoon began at Daum Communications in 2005 and served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Kakao Games and its European branch in 2013, overseeing business service analysis and marketing operations for overseas corporations, thereby contributing to Kakao Games' influence in international markets.

CEO Lim will focus on in-house development and business expansion, leveraging his deep understanding and expertise in blockchain and gaming. CEO Choi will oversee overall management based on his extensive experience in the global market and broad management support.

CEO Lim noted, "We will do our best to enhance competitiveness by expanding partnerships and strengthening services to extend Metaborah's capabilities in web3 content and game development."

CEO Choi expressed, "I am pleased to embark on this new journey with Metaborah," and added, "Using my years of experience, I will strive to strengthen Metaborah's core competitiveness."
