LG OLED Evo recently dominated the TV ratings from the U.S. consumer media Consumer Reports, taking the top 10 spots.

According to the industry on the 24th, Consumer Reports has recently updated its evaluations of major TV products sold in the United States. Consumer Reports evaluates TV products based on criteria such as reliability, satisfaction, picture quality, sound quality, and security.

In this update, LG OLED Evo increased its scores, sweeping all top 10 spots occupied by products scoring over 88.

Even when broadening the range to products scoring over 87, it was recorded that 13 out of 17 products were LG OLED TVs. The remaining 4 were Samsung Electronics' OLED TV models, the 65- and 77-inch S90D and S90DD.

In particular, the LG OLED Evo G4, available in three sizes — 55, 65, and 77 inches — received scores of 90, known as the 'magic score,' making it the best product among 400 evaluation targets.

LG Electronics applied its industry-exclusive OLED-specific AI picture and sound quality engine, the 'Alpha 11 AI Processor,' to the OLED Evo G4. This technology corrects colors considering the video creator's intent and upscales images at the pixel level, providing a clear display.

In contrast, the LCD TV products from China's leading manufacturers Hisense and TCL saw their top models in mini LED barely surpassing 70 points.
