Naver announced on the 24th that it will launch its own artificial intelligence (AI) model HyperCLOVA X-based 'AI Briefing' service on the 27th. This service provides users with summarized answers and content sources in an intuitive manner when they input search terms and also offers personalized recommendation features suitable for the search context.
The AI Briefing will be introduced in an optimized form within the 'Naver Plus Store' app, which was launched on the 12th, and will be integrated into the AI shopping guide, 'Place,' and 'Short Content.' For example, when a user searches for 'documents required for driver's license renewal,' it provides summarized answers using official sources from the government and public institutions, along with a consolidation to relevant pages.
In addition, content recommended as short content will be provided in a summarized form, helping users check additional information from the original content. Naver plans to unveil new features this year, including multimodal services through image search and multilingual services.
Kim Kwang-hyun, head of Naver's search and data institutional sector, said, 'Starting with AI Briefing, Naver search will be further advanced based on long experience in search services and vast user data,' and noted, 'We will provide a new user experience in line with the era of AI agents coming into daily life.'
