Naver Cloud announced plans to strengthen its collaboration for building a sovereign AI ecosystem at NVIDIA's annual event 'GTC 2025' held in San Jose, California, on the 17th.

Kim Yoo-won, CEO of Naver Cloud, introduced 'HyperCLOVA X' utilizing non-English language-based large language models at the 'Sovereign AI Summit,' explaining the AI value chain that only Naver can implement and actual cases of building sovereign AI.

Naver emphasized that it possesses capabilities across all areas, including AI services, data, supercomputing infrastructure, and cloud, enabling it to provide customized services for nations and corporations seeking sovereign AI. Kim mentioned that AI must be able to address social issues, introducing the AI well-being call service 'CLOVA Care Call' and showcasing the cases of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and the Bank of Korea's neuro cloud establishment.

Naver Cloud and NVIDIA plan to collaborate in the fields of large language models, infrastructure, and applications targeting the Southeast Asian market, with the goal of achieving visible results within this year.
