Samsung SDS is strengthening its collaboration with the global software corporation SAP on cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) projects.

On the 20th, Samsung SDS announced that Chief Executive Officer Lee Jun-hee and SAP Chief Executive Officer Christian Klein agreed to expand cloud ERP projects based on Samsung SDS’s ERP implementation and operation capabilities at its Jamsil campus in Songpa District, Seoul.

The two companies plan to actively support cloud ERP transitions for customers in regulated industries such as public services, finance, and defense.

They are also expected to expand collaboration in areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and hyper-automation based on cloud ERP.

CEO Klein noted, "Samsung SDS is a long-time customer and strategic partner of SAP, possessing world-class capabilities in cloud and ERP implementation and operation," and added, "I hope to provide high-level SAP cloud ERP services to customers in Korea."

Lee Jun-hee, CEO of Samsung SDS, said, "To transfer ERP systems, which are at the core of corporate operations, to the cloud, a highly secure and stable cloud environment is necessary," and stated, "We will strengthen our collaboration with SAP to provide upgraded services to our customers."
