The artificial intelligence (AI) agent 'Jule,' released by SAP earlier this year, can autonomously input customer data into the cloud. Agents responsible for various fields such as finance and human resources can collaborate like humans to achieve the best results. The development of Korean language support services for Jule was completed by March of this year, and formal services are planned to be provided to Korean clients starting in April. The goal is to increase operational efficiency for customers by 30% to 40% through Jule this year.

Christian Klein, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SAP, said this during a press briefing for 'Business Unleashed' held at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 20th.

SAP, founded in 1972 in Germany, is a corporation that specializes in business software and ranks first in the related market. SAP develops enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for integrated management of accounting and human resources, customer relationship management (CRM) software for analyzing customer data and optimizing marketing and sales, and supply chain management (SCM) software for optimizing manufacturing and logistics.

SAP currently offers services based on major clouds such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS), and Google. The company has 26,000 customers worldwide and is collaborating with LG Electronics and others in South Korea.

CEO Klein explained, "SAP has a wealth of high-quality data, having over 20 years in the industry," adding, "With 800 million people using SAP's services worldwide, we have been able to accurately understand what kinds of AI our customers want." He further noted, "High-performance AI, based on data, can significantly reduce work hours by taking over tasks that developers previously had to perform manually, and using Jule in various areas such as human resources, finance, and supply chain management will enable efficient allocation of resources and reduce employee turnover rates."

SAP also announced plans to complete the expansion of its domestic data center facilities by April. The company opened its first domestic data center in 2021. CEO Klein stated, "We will continue to invest in our data centers," and emphasized, "The goal is to consistently expand infrastructure to broaden the options available for customers looking to utilize cloud services."

CEO Klein explained, "Last month, we secured a contract worth $650 million (approximately 950.8 billion won) through a collaboration with 'Databricks' to develop a cloud data analytics solution," adding, "We plan to actively target corporations that have not yet transitioned to the cloud."
