INNOGRID announced on the 19th that it is supplying its virtualization solution "Openstackit" to major public institutions and corporations.
Recently, INNOGRID provided Openstackit for the Air Force Smart Unit standard platform construction project. INNOGRID noted that it has achieved significant results in the cloud virtualization sector by offering Openstackit in the defense sector, which is among the most conservative areas of public service.
In particular, INNOGRID has been growing since last year when corporations began seriously seeking alternatives to VMware after Broadcom changed the licensing policy following its acquisition of VMware. Openstackit has been adopted by the Korea Customs Service, Supreme Court, Korea Electronics Technology Institute, Seoul City, Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, Busan Techno Park, Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, Korea Education and Research Information Service, Suncheon University, Mokpo National University, and Gyeongsang National University. The company stated that Openstackit is highly regarded for its packaging, technical support, and PoC performance advantages, setting a new record for the most adoption cases among domestic virtualization products.
Openstackit, which is making remarkable strides across various sectors, including major public institutions and education, is an IaaS solution based on Openstack. Openstackit controls the cloud environment with SDC, SDN, and SDS configurations and supports efficient operation management of SDDC private clouds. It features basic functions such as load balancing, metering, billing, and real-time virtual resource monitoring, and applies its proprietary specialized module "Innoculars" to help manage open-source cloud infrastructure efficiently and easily.
In particular, Openstackit was developed incorporating a total of 28 patents, including 16 patents based on Openstack, and has obtained GS certification grade 1, as well as a security function confirmation from the National Intelligence Service, thereby proving its technological prowess and security in cloud virtualization. Moreover, with over 10 years of experience in optimizing Openstack and being the first in the country to possess HA technology based on Openstack, it has established the standard for domestic cloud virtualization.
Additionally, it is equipped with a self-checking feature to verify that processes are functioning normally, an integrity verification function to detect and validate data tampering, and an audit log function to support the creation, identification, inquiry, and protection of user access.
Kim Myeong-jin, CEO of INNOGRID, said, "Openstackit is a representative virtualization solution that encapsulates INNOGRID's cloud expertise, and I believe the choice of numerous clients certifies Openstackit's global technological capabilities and competitiveness," and noted, "Based on our technology, we will provide convenience and stability to fulfill our role as a strong partner in the cloud virtualization market."
