SK hynix announced on the 19th that it will operate a booth at the global AI conference 'GTC 2025' hosted by Nvidia in San Jose, California, from the 17th to the 21st (local time) with the theme 'The Tomorrow of AI Brought by Memory.'
SK hynix explained that it will showcase various memory products driving the AI era, including high-bandwidth memory (HBM), memory solutions for AI data centers, on-device applications, and automotive sectors.
SK hynix said, "In addition to HBM3E 12-layer, we will also showcase SOCAMM, which is gaining attention as a new memory standard for AI servers, to demonstrate our leading AI memory technology capabilities." SOCAMM is a low-power DRAM-based memory module specialized for AI servers.
The event will be attended by company executives including President Kwak Noh-jung, President Kim Joo-sun of AI Infrastructure, and Vice President Lee Sang-rok to strengthen collaboration.
SK hynix, which is mass-producing the world's first fifth-generation HBM (HBM3E) 12-layer products and supplying them to clients, plans to complete preparations for the mass production of HBM4 12-layer products within this second half of the year and start supply in line with clients' desired timing. A model of the HBM4 12-layer under development will also be showcased at this exhibition.
SK hynix President Kim Joo-sun noted, "We think it is meaningful to showcase leading products of the AI era at this GTC," and stated, "We will accelerate the future through differentiated AI memory competitiveness."
