KT announced on the 13th that it had formed a strategic partnership with the AI platform corporation Palantir on the 12th (local time) in the United States to accelerate AX business. With this, KT officially joined Palantir's 'Worldwide Partner Ecosystem' as the first in South Korea.
Palantir is a corporation that develops software platforms to support decision-making for governments and corporations through large-scale data integration and analysis, optimizing AI systems based on strong security technology to assist real-time decision-making.
The two corporations will pursue ▲joint business in the domestic AX market ▲collaboration on 'KT Secure Public Cloud (KT SPC)' ▲joint development of 'Korean-style AIP Bootcamp' ▲AI and data competency training for KT employees. KT plans to implement Palantir software internally to enhance business quality and optimize operations.
KT promotes AI innovation in strictly regulated industries like finance by combining cloud and network infrastructure with Palantir AI solutions. KT SPC is a cloud platform dedicated to AI with enhanced security, allowing future customers to utilize Palantir solutions in a thoroughly secure environment.
In addition, the two corporations will jointly develop a 'Korean-style AIP Bootcamp' for practical training on Palantir solutions. This training program, which was conducted over 1,300 times last year in the United States, will be revamped to fit the Korean market. Furthermore, KT will carry out joint projects with Palantir global engineers to secure technical capabilities, while Palantir will provide intensive training for KT employees.
