NCSOFT announced on the 13th that it will launch the multiplatform massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Blade & Soul 2' in the Chinese market on April 3.
NCSOFT conducted several beta tests for 'Blade & Soul 2' ahead of its official service with local publisher Tencent.
The company noted that it applied a variety of content preferred by Chinese users in the game, and improved controls, user interface (UI), and mobile optimization.
Additionally, to maximize the distinct features of the game, including the free job switching and action, it enhanced various combat elements such as 'responsive combat' and 'skill combos.'
In particular, the highest-grade equipment is designed to be obtainable only through gameplay, and all items acquired can be set to be traded in a transaction market to promote in-game transactions.
Choi Yong-jun, head of development for Blade & Soul 2, explained, "We have closely collaborated with Tencent Games to enhance the game's quality, and we plan to showcase the vibrant action unique to Blade & Soul 2 to Chinese users."
