SOOP announced on the 12th that it will live stream all matches of the 37th ‘World Three Cushion Team Championship.’ The event will take place in Viersen, Germany, from March 13 to 16, organized by the Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) and hosted by the German Billiards Union (DBU). A total of 16 countries will compete for the championship through a qualifying league and a main tournament.

The South Korean team consists of Heo Jeong-han (Gyeongnam) and Jo Myung-woo (Silkroad Si&T). In the last tournament, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals, but this time they aim to reclaim the title after seven years. Defending champion Vietnam will challenge for a second consecutive victory with Tran Quyết Chiến and Bao Phuong Binh, while world-class players such as Dick Jaspers of the Netherlands and Torbjörn Blomdahl of Sweden will also compete.

South Korea is in Group B along with Japan, Mexico, and France, where a Korea-Japan match has been confirmed in the group stage. Group A includes Turkey, Portugal, Germany, and Colombia, Group C comprises Vietnam, Jordan, Belgium, and Sweden, while Group D consists of the Netherlands, the United States, Spain, and Egypt.

All matches of the tournament will be live streamed on SOOP’s global platform, and can also be viewed on KT (Channel 129), D’live (Channel 160), LG U+ (Channel 120), LG HelloVision (Channel 194), SK Broadband (Channel 234), and Seogyeong Broadcasting (Channel 256).
