FortyTwoMaru announced on the 12th that it will conduct a keynote lecture on the topic of "Utilization of Generative AI in Industrial Sites" at the 'AI Autonomous Manufacturing Innovation Forum' held at Coex in Samseong-dong.
The '2025 AI Autonomous Manufacturing Innovation Forum' is a platform to discuss the integration and expansion of AI and autonomous manufacturing technologies that will lead the future of the manufacturing industry, aiming to enhance manufacturing efficiency in the industry. Various conference topics such as industrial AI, robotics convergence technology, digital twin, ESG, and smart logistics will be presented. It will be organized by Advanced Technology and held from March 12 to March 14 in the conference room at Coex in Samseong-dong.
Kim Dong-hwan, CEO of FortyTwoMaru, will share the latest technological trends and industry application cases of generative AI on the first day of the event, during the first session starting at 10:30 a.m. on March 12, under the theme "Utilization of Generative AI in Industrial Sites." In particular, practical insights will be provided centered on specific examples of RAG42, a search-enhanced generation technology combined with FortyTwoMaru's artificial intelligence reading comprehension (MRC), and LLM42, a lightweight model specialized for specific industries, applied in actual industrial sites.
It will also analyze the technical and operational challenges that may arise throughout the entire process from the introduction stage to actual on-site application of generative AI and will disclose strategies and know-how to successfully solve these issues.
FortyTwoMaru, a generative AI startup, is mitigating the hallucination phenomenon, a drawback of ultra-large language models, through engineering with the search-enhanced generation technology RAG42 and the reading comprehension technology MRC42, while developing and providing a lightweight model LLM42 specialized for specific industries. It supports a private mode for corporations, allowing safe usage of ultra-large AI without worrying about leaks of internal corporate data or sensitive customer information, and can significantly reduce the expenses involved in building, training, and serving solutions.
Kim Dong-hwan, CEO of FortyTwoMaru, noted, "Generative AI has established itself as a key technology to enhance efficiency and accelerate innovation in manufacturing and engineering industries." He emphasized, "I hope this lecture will be an opportunity for many industry stakeholders to confirm the possibilities of AI technology and practical utilization strategies."
