SK shieldus's physical security brand ADT Caps announced on the 12th that it has proven its AI security technology by obtaining certification for intelligent CCTV performance tests conducted by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
The intelligent CCTV performance test certification is a system that evaluates the ability to accurately distinguish and detect specific behaviors in video data, requiring a detection accuracy of over 90% to obtain. ADT Caps has acquired additional marketing field certification this year, following certifications for ▲ intrusion ▲ loitering ▲ falling ▲ arson. This officially recognizes that AI CCTV can be utilized for theft prevention and customer flow analysis in stores with high foot traffic or unmanned stores.
ADT Caps's AI CCTV incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) technology within the camera itself, enabling real-time video security and big data analysis without a separate server. It provides ultra-high-definition video at 5 million pixels, supporting quick video searches by distinguishing detailed keywords such as person, gender, and color. Additionally, it immediately detects and sends alerts when abnormal situations such as intrusions or falls occur in areas designated as prohibited by the customer, and if necessary, DAEWON personnel from ADT Caps respond quickly.
ADT Caps plans to further enhance AI CCTV technology to provide customized security solutions for various industries and will also pursue safety evaluation certification for unmanned stores in the future.
