On the 11th, Devsisters announced that they have recruited Hong Min-young, the Global Strategy Officer (GSO) from Kakao Entertainment. Through a 'flywheel' strategy that organically connects the gaming and IP (intellectual property) businesses, the goal is to grow Cookie Run into a global super IP.

Hong Min-young, GSO, is a global entertainment strategy expert and IP producer who has led the growth of various IPs and content through experiences at CJ Entertainment, Kakao Page, and Kakao Entertainment. With a background in consulting for Disney at McKinsey & Company, he has built over 25 years of experience in IP planning and business.

Devsisters expects that Hong Min-young's expertise will play a significant role in establishing the Cookie Run IP as a long-term global brand. Through this, the company aims to expand beyond its core gaming business into the realm of IP, broadening its competitiveness and securing customers through various touchpoints while fostering global fandom culture, preparing for sustainable growth.

Hong Min-young, GSO, projected that Cookie Run will exhibit even greater growth potential not only in mobile gaming but also in offline areas such as video, music, literature, social content, trading card games (TCG), merchandise, licensing products, fan festivals, esports competitions, and exhibitions.
