Samsung Electronics announced on the 11th that it will begin pre-orders for its new '2025 AI TV model' equipped with new artificial intelligence (AI) features starting from the 12th. The pre-order models include Neo QLED and OLED TVs.
Samsung Electronics stated that this year it will expand its AI model range for Neo QLED products to seven series, while increasing its OLED offerings from the existing 10 to 14 products, thereby broadening consumer choices.
The new products this year are equipped with new AI features, including Home Insight, Home Monitoring, and Click to Search. Home Insight recommends actions such as turning off unused devices and turning on the kitchen hood while cooking, considering the user's lifestyle patterns, device usage history, and home environment. Additionally, Home Monitoring detects unusual movements within the home.
The TV remote control has a newly added AI button that can directly execute Click to Search. This feature recommends programs similar to what is being viewed and provides information related to the content, such as character details. It also supports real-time translation.
The 2025 Neo QLED 8K model is equipped with a '3rd generation AI 8K processor' that delivers optimized picture quality and sound for content. This model also features a 'Wireless One Connect Box' solution that allows viewing videos up to 8K at 120Hz without any cables.
The Wireless One Connect Box is a device that connects various TV peripherals to the TV, eliminating the need for complex wiring.
In addition, this year's new products will expand the art subscription service 'Samsung Art Store,' which was previously only available on the lifestyle TV 'The Frame.'
The launch prices for the new products are 16.2 million won for the Neo QLED 8K 85-inch, 13 million won for the Neo QLED 4K 98-inch, and 8.99 million won for the OLED 77-inch.
