Fasoo was selected as a supplier for the 2025 AI voucher support project, supporting the expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) utilization by corporations, it said on the 10th.
The AI voucher support project, overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), is designed to support small and medium enterprises, medical institutions, and small businesses in adopting optimal AI technologies to facilitate digital transformation. Demand corporations can utilize vouchers worth up to 200 million won to introduce AI technologies, products, and services provided by suppliers.
Through this AI voucher support project, Fasoo will provide a large language model (LLM) known as "Ellm" and an AI-based privacy protection solution called "AI-R Privacy" to lower the barriers for corporations in adopting AI.
"Ellm" is a lightweight large language model (sLLM) that can build generative AI tailored to the characteristics of organizations by learning from internal data either on-premises or in a private cloud. It can be applied to various tasks such as report writing, document summarization, internal data analysis, knowledge repository management, and customer interaction, increasing productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the company noted that it allows for secure AI operation by utilizing detailed access control and metadata information in conjunction with security solutions.
AI-R Privacy is a solution that identifies and protects personal information within data using AI-based natural language processing (NLP) and optical character recognition (OCR) technology. Using a transformer technology-based language model, it analyzes context even in complex sentences and can accurately detect and mask various personal information such as names, social security numbers, addresses, account numbers, and card numbers.
Koh Dong-hyun, managing director at Fasoo, noted, "We will support corporations in adopting AI more realistically and efficiently through AI solutions that encapsulate Fasoo's long-standing expertise in data management," and stated, "As an AI company, we will expand various support initiatives beyond the AI voucher project."
