On the 10th, Xiaomi's smartphone brand Poco announced the official sale of the Poco X7 Pro.
The new product can be purchased through the official online store, Naver Brand Store, and Coupang, and various purchasing benefits will be provided along with the product introduction in the ‘Coupang Live’ broadcast starting at 7 p.m. today.
The Poco X7 Pro is the first Xiaomi smartphone released in Korea to feature the latest operating system, Hyper OS 2. Hyper OS 2 enhances system response speed through Hyper AI optimization technology and supports AI features such as photo editing, recording summaries, and real-time translation, helping maintain high productivity in various environments. Additionally, the device has Google Gemini AI built-in, providing an even smarter user experience.
The Poco X7 Pro has significantly improved performance compared to its predecessor, the X6 Pro. The Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor boasts a 54% improvement in CPU, 70% in GPU, and 50% in NPU compared to the Dimensity 8300-Ultra of the X6 Pro. It demonstrated its performance by scoring over 1.7 million points in the Antutu benchmark test.
The Poco X7 Pro features a 6.67-inch 1.5K Crystal-less AMOLED display, providing a sharper and more immersive visual experience. With a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits and HDR10+ support, it maintains vibrant image quality even in bright environments, alongside a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,560Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate for precise control. Additionally, it has received TÜV Rheinland's low blue light and flicker-free certifications, designed to minimize eye strain during prolonged use.
The Poco X7 Pro incorporates proprietary cooling technology to ensure stable performance during long entertainment sessions. The LiquidCool Technology 4.0 and 3D IceLoop systems are more than three times as efficient at dissipating heat from the CPU and key components compared to previous models, minimizing performance degradation due to heat. The WildBoost 3.0 gaming optimization technology and triple antennas enhance network connectivity and maintain consistent frame rates to create a stable gaming environment.
Battery performance and ultra-fast charging technology have also been significantly enhanced. The Poco X7 Pro features a large 6,000 mAh battery, 20% larger than its predecessor, allowing for up to 14.5 hours of continuous use, and it charges completely in just 42 minutes with 90W HyperCharge technology. The battery retains over 90% of its capacity even after more than 1,000 full charging cycles and provides stable charging performance even at minus 25 degrees.
The Poco X7 Pro supports IP68-rated waterproofing and dustproofing, making it the first in the Poco lineup to do so. It features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for strong protection against scratches and drop impacts, while the ultra-slim bezels and minimal design complete its sleek appearance. The 50MP main camera incorporates the Sony IMX882 sensor and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to capture sharp photos without shake. The f/1.5 large aperture and 1.6µm pixel technology provide excellent detail even in low-light environments.
Additionally, the AI Ultra Snap feature enables accurate capture of fast-moving subjects, while AI-based photo correction and AI erase tools allow for refined image editing.
The color options are black, green, and yellow. Notably, the yellow model, which is Poco's signature color, expresses a strong personality with a dual-tone color and texture. The price for the model with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage is 448,000 won, and the model with 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage is priced at 548,000 won.
