The artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor corporation DeepX announced on the 10th that it has recruited Jeon Jae-do, former product marketing director at NXP, as the head of its U.S. corporation to aim for business expansion in the global market.

Head of the U.S. corporation Jeon Jae-do has worked for over 20 years in various roles at major global semiconductor and IT corporations, including ST-Ericsson, Texas Instruments, and NXP. In particular, he has built expertise and networks by experiencing hardware design, technical marketing, and sales across various sectors, including mobile, automotive, and home entertainment.

At NXP, he served as the product marketing director for both the North American and Korean markets in the 'Security and Connectivity' division, leading business development, collaboration with clients, and establishing roadmaps.

Jeon Jae-do, head of the U.S. corporation at DeepX, noted, "AI semiconductors can maximize performance only when hardware and software are closely integrated," adding, "I will contribute to the expansion of DeepX's business by securing technological differentiation and customer-tailored solutions that can succeed in the global market."

DeepX added that it is expanding communication with global system semiconductor sales organizations, including efforts to establish a branch in Taiwan in the first half of this year.
