Artificial intelligence (AI) service specialized corporation ESTsoft announced on the 7th that it will enhance the AI features of its image viewer and editing program 'ALSee,' offered through the national software service ALTools, and expand the same functionality to its image capture program 'ALCapture.'
With this update, both ALSee and ALCapture will offer 'AI background removal' and 'AI quality enhancement' features equally. 'AI background removal' helps users conveniently remove complex backgrounds with a single click, while 'AI quality enhancement' processes low-resolution images by upscaling them to twice the high resolution, producing clearer images than before.
These features were first introduced in ALSee in January and have been further enhanced for this update. Key improvements include boosting the processing performance of AI background removal and AI quality enhancement. The user experience for each function has also been improved to allow easier access to the enhanced performance.
In particular, the user experience has been significantly improved. AI background removal now includes an original view button that allows users to directly compare images before and after background removal, while AI quality enhancement has been strengthened to allow users to immediately check changes in resolution through a slider on the screen.
In addition to this, both features now include ▲window size adjustment ▲fullscreen function ▲work image zoom in and out, and support new file formats such as WebP and TIFF, greatly enhancing usability. Continuous operations are also supported within the working screen, thereby increasing productivity.
