On the 7th, KT announced that it has expanded the benefits of 'shared roaming' and 'all-day roaming' to provide overseas roaming customers with more convenient service.
'Shared roaming' is a service that allows customers to share data with up to five lines after subscribing. It is popular among long-term overseas residents and traveling companions. KT has integrated the previously separate categories of Asia, North America, and global into one, allowing customers to choose between 4GB, 8GB, or 12GB of service at the same rate in 122 countries worldwide. It has been improved to allow continued use at a speed of 400 Kbps after data is depleted.
'All-day roaming' has also increased its data offerings. The all-day roaming basic has been raised from 400MB to 500MB, while the all-day roaming plus has increased from 800MB to 1GB. After the initial data is used, unlimited use is possible with speed limitations.
KT also offers the 'safe roaming' service, which allows customers to use it at domestic currency levels even while abroad. This service is automatically applied in the target countries without separate application and is available in 59 countries.
