SOCAR announced on the 5th that it will conduct a large-scale mobility support campaign worth 7 billion won, which includes benefits from a one-year free mobility membership to a one-year free use of the BMW M5, until this month to alleviate the burden of movement in the economic downturn.
SOCAR will first provide immediate mobility support benefits worth up to 69,900 won. The mobility support consists of a one-year free usage voucher for the SOCAR annual membership service 'Passport' worth 39,900 won and 30,000 credits that can be used like cash. The one-year free usage voucher for the Passport will be given to all members who have not used the Passport within a year, while the 30,000 credits will be offered to new SOCAR members and members who have not used the car-sharing service within a year.
The Passport is an annual membership that SOCAR introduced as the first in the domestic mobility industry in 2021, offering discounts and credit accumulation benefits for various services such as car-sharing, bicycles, and accommodations when subscribed. Just using car-sharing or accommodation facilities once after joining provides benefits exceeding the annual fee, making it popular and achieving 1 million subscribers as the first mobility membership.
By utilizing the Passport that is provided for free for one year during this campaign, benefits such as ▲ unlimited 50% discount on rental fees ▲ unlimited 50% discount on one-way fees ▲ free use of the 'Call' service to have vehicles delivered to desired locations will be granted. Additionally, 5% of the payment amount will be accumulated as credits unconditionally when making a car-sharing reservation, and the average monthly benefit summed from discounts and accumulated credits received by Passport subscribers in the past year amounts to 300,000 won.
During the campaign period, additional support funds will also be provided when using car-sharing. For the first use of car-sharing, up to 20,000 credits, for the second use, up to 10,000 credits and free coupons for Call and one-way, and for the third use, a 10,000 won discount coupon for accommodation can be received. The eligibility for additional support funds includes new SOCAR members and long-term inactive members, similar to the mobility support funds.
