Kim Young-seop, president of KT, visited the exhibition booth of Samsung Electronics at the world’s largest mobile exhibition, 'Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025', and showed interest by experiencing the healthcare features utilizing the Galaxy Watch.
On the 3rd (local time), Kim visited the Samsung Electronics booth at MWC 2025 held in Barcelona, Spain, and viewed products and technologies with Roh Tae-moon, president of the Mobile Experience (MX) division of Samsung Electronics.
Kim pointed to the healthcare display screen at the booth with his finger and said, “With this (Galaxy Watch), I can see my heart rate.” He acknowledged the guide's explanation that precise health information, such as blood oxygen levels, can be checked.
That day, Kim toured the Samsung Electronics booth with President Roh and checked out products such as the Galaxy S25 Edge, Galaxy AI, NowBrief, and Project Infinity. While looking at Samsung Electronics' first extended reality (XR) headset, 'Project Infinity,' he jokingly remarked, “I should pre-order that.” When Kim asked, “How's the weight of the (headset)?” Roh responded, “It has been greatly reduced.”
Additionally, Kim noted that while viewing the 'AI eraser feature' that deletes unwanted images using AI, it may be useful in the future. After the booth tour ended, Kim shook hands with Roh and said, “It seems like technology is advancing by leaps and bounds every day.”
