KT announced on the 4th that it has launched the 'Total Safe Internet,' designed to block security threats that may occur during internet usage.
This service combines artificial intelligence technology and premium security solutions to detect and block cyber threats such as smishing, malware, and harmful websites. It also supports virus scanning and optimization for PCs and smartphones using a V3 engine-based vaccine, and includes a remote inspection service provided by IT experts, allowing users to use the internet more safely.
In particular, the child protection feature has been enhanced, enabling users to set internet, mobile, and TV usage times by day of the week and time period, fostering a healthy digital environment.
'Total Safe Internet' is available for an additional 3,300 won per month (with a three-year contract) and can be subscribed to at KT stores and the official website.
Kwon Hee-geun, head of KT's Marketing Innovation Division, noted, "We designed it to allow customers to use the internet with peace of mind by combining AI and expert support," and added, "We will continue to provide services that block digital threats such as hacking and smishing."
