KT announced on the 27th that it is promoting a GPU subscription service (GPUaaS, GPU-as-a-Service) business in collaboration with AI startup Level Up. Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly promote the AI cloud service business and showcase the technology and features unique to KT's GPUaaS.
GPUaaS is a service that rents GPU resources to corporations that require high-performance computing, allowing them to use only the needed amount without owning GPUs, providing a cost-efficient environment for AI development.
Level Up is a corporation that develops AI infrastructure management platforms, virtualizing and efficiently allocating GPU resources to help customers use GPUs more effectively. Additionally, Level Up's Backend.ai solution has been the only one in the Asia-Pacific region to receive verification for NVIDIA DGX-ready software.
KT plans to collaborate with excellent domestic corporations to provide AX solutions that support AI transformation.
