CJ OliveNetworks' lifestyle membership service CJ ONE announced on the 26th that it will enter into a business agreement with TravelWallet to strengthen member benefits and expand services.

TravelWallet is a foreign currency payment fintech corporation, providing currency exchange for 46 currencies and online and offline payment services abroad. Through this agreement, they plan to enhance payment and membership benefits for both domestic and foreign members by integrating the CJ ONE membership service with the TravelWallet platform.

The signing ceremony took place on the 25th at the CJ OliveNetworks headquarters, attended by CEO Yoon Sang of CJ OliveNetworks, CEO Kim Hyung-woo of TravelWallet, CJ ONE manager Kim Dae-sung, and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Lee Jae-won of TravelWallet, among other key officials.

By obtaining a CJ ONE barcode through the TravelWallet app, users can pay at offline stores of CJ ONE's 15 partner brands, including Olive Young, CGV, Tous Les Jours, and Mega MGC Coffee.

CJ ONE and TravelWallet will also conduct a partnership event. Until early August, using the CJ ONE barcode for payment in the TravelWallet app will provide a cashback of 1.5% on the payment amount.

This partnership is also significant in terms of the global expansion of the CJ ONE membership service. Initially, the service will be offered to domestic members, and plans are in place to expand the service target to foreign tourists visiting Korea in the second half of this year.

Yoon Sang, CEO of CJ OliveNetworks, said, "Through this partnership, we expect to provide a more convenient payment service to both domestic and foreign members," adding, "CJ ONE will continue to collaborate with various partners to expand K-membership services into the global market."

Kim Hyung-woo, CEO of TravelWallet, noted, "The foundation has been established for TravelWallet customers to make convenient payments domestically," adding, "We plan to strengthen our position in the domestic payment market and provide differentiated benefits to customers."

Meanwhile, CJ ONE is expanding its partnerships with various brands in the lifestyle, convenience, finance, and travel sectors, including Mega MGC Coffee, Yanolja platform, and Lian Hair.
