According to the gaming industry on the 25th, Kakao Games disclosed the agenda to appoint Noh as an outside director for a one-year term the day before. Noh graduated from Ewha Womans University, completed the 25th session of the Judicial Research and Training Institute in 1998, and began her career as a prosecutor at the Seongnam branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office in 1997, serving in various positions including director of the Ministry of Justice's Women and Children Division and Human Rights Relief Division, chief prosecutor of the Gongju branch of the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office, head of the Public Trial Division at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, chief prosecutor of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, and chief prosecutor of the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office.

In 2022, she made headlines when she was appointed as the chief prosecutor of Busan during the first regular personnel appointment by the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, becoming the first female chief prosecutor in the history of the prosecution. Noh then moved to the position of chief prosecutor in Daegu the following year but resigned in May last year to leave the prosecution and start her own law practice.

A representative from Kakao Games noted, "We expect that the nominee will provide professional advice on legal risk management and supervision of the legality of overall company management based on her extensive experience and expertise accumulated over many years in the legal field."

Kakao Games plans to officially appoint Noh as an outside director at the regular shareholders' meeting scheduled for the 26th of next month.

In addition, Kakao Games announced the new appointment of Jang Jae-moon (40), a member of the Kakao CA Council Strategic Committee, as a non-executive director, and also disclosed the reappointment of Robbins Seung-hoon, Oh Myung-jeon, Lim Seung-yeon, Jeong Seon-yeol, and Choi Young-geun as outside directors and audit committee members.
