SelectStar announced on the 25th that it will hold the 'Global AI Red Team Challenge' in collaboration with the GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) at the world's largest mobile exhibition 'MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2025' in March.
The 'Global AI Red Team Challenge' hosted by SelectStar and the GSMA will take place on March 5th from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (local time) at Fira Gran Via Hall 6 in Barcelona, Spain. This event holds significant meaning as the first offline AI Red Team Challenge targeting a global audience. While similar events have been held at the national level, this is the first global AI Red Team Challenge involving multinational participants and LLMs (Large Language Models).
The 'AI Red Team Challenge' is an event conducted to seek methods to enhance safety, reliability, and security as AI increasingly possesses more complex decision-making structures. Participants will conduct simulated prompt attacks on LLMs in active service to identify and validate flaws and vulnerabilities, such as harmful or discriminatory outcomes and system misuse.
As a co-host, SelectStar will play a key role in operating the Red Team platform, creating challenges, and reviewing responses, showcasing the know-how and technical capabilities accumulated in the AI Red Team field. The competition will feature LLMs developed by leading global AI corporations, including ExiGEN (ixi-GEN powered by EXAONE), a small language model produced by LG Uplus based on LG AI Research's EXAONE, as well as TelecomGPT from the United Arab Emirates and AIngineer from Malaysia.
GSMA, the United Arab Emirates' state-owned telecommunications company E&, the Ministry of Science and ICT of South Korea, and the Korea Artificial Intelligence Safety Research Institute, among other corporations and institutions representing the global AI and telecommunications industries, will also participate as sponsors.
SelectStar participated as a representative partner in the 'Generative AI Red Team Challenge' held in April last year, the first and largest of its kind in the country. Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, with participation from around 700 individuals targeting four models from prominent domestic AI companies such as Naver Cloud, SK Telecom, Upstage, and 42MARU, the event concluded successfully. Following this, SelectStar will demonstrate its technical capabilities in the global market in partnership with GSMA for the 'Global AI Red Team Challenge.'

'DATUMO Eval' is an AI reliability verification solution designed to identify and respond to potential errors and risks that may arise during the operation of AI services. It generates domain-specific assessment questions in bulk and provides a verification automation process that quantifies and analyzes answers generated by AI.
