Immersive extended reality (XR) corporation OLIM PLANET announced on the 25th that it has been selected as a supplier for the 2025 data voucher support project and will begin recruiting demand corporations.

The data voucher support project, organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency, will provide vouchers to institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and prospective entrepreneurs that require data purchasing and processing. This year's project is expected to expand support across all stages, including data planning, design, procurement, collection, generation, processing, and analysis, broadening the scope of data utilization for demand corporations.

OLIM PLANET has been selected as a data voucher supplier for five consecutive years and plans to supply its XR solution ELYPECS, which leverages its '3D data packaging and streaming' technology, to demand corporations to help bridge the digital divide.

The '3D data packaging and streaming technology,' which has received NET new technology certification from the National Institute of Technology and Standards, provides an environment where high-capacity 3D content can be easily enjoyed on various devices such as mobile phones and PCs without separate hardware or software installation. Applications from data voucher demand corporations will be accepted until 6 p.m. on March 14 through the data voucher project management system (PMS).

Yang Yong-seok, head of the OLIM PLANET business division, said, 'Through this project, we will help corporations and institutions utilize the XR solution ELYPECS without the burden of initial adoption expense, while also providing customized consulting to enhance the competitiveness of corporations and institutions.'
