T-map Mobility will end its electric scooter service next month.
T-map Mobility noted on the 25th that it has decided to terminate its electric scooter business effective the 26th.
T-map Mobility explained that it plans to focus on three core businesses going forward: ▲ safe driving discount clause (UBI) ▲ application programming interface (API) and data ▲ vehicle navigation "T-map Auto."
However, it plans to continue operating its electric bike service.
T-map Mobility started its electric scooter service in December 2021 in collaboration with shared scooter brands "Sing Sing" and "G-Scooter," but has decided to close the business after about three years.
A T-map Mobility official said, "Since last year, we have been making adjustments in our operations and are focusing on mobility data and solution businesses as part of an overall portfolio adjustment," adding, "This decision is also part of that direction."
