Fasoo announced on the 24th that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Terabyte Group, a cybersecurity specialty company with a broad customer base in the ASEAN region, to strengthen its dominance in the Southeast Asia data security market. The two companies aim to respond to the growing security demand in Southeast Asia due to cyber security threats and personal data protection regulations through this partnership.
Working with Fasoo, Terabyte is a subsidiary of Terra International, a systems integration specialty company with over 500 clients operating in more than 10 countries across the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to its headquarters in Singapore, Terabyte has offices in Australia and five regions in Southeast Asia, serving various clients including public institutions, financial, medical, and telecommunications companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
As global cybersecurity threats surge and compliance regulations tighten, the rapidly growing Southeast Asian market is also witnessing a significant increase in related security demand. Accordingly, Fasoo, which is already responding to local customers alongside partners in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, has established a partnership with Terabyte Group, which is aggressively expanding its business in the Asia-Pacific region based in Singapore.
This partnership is expected to accelerate the expansion of Fasoo's data security and management solutions that can identify, classify, protect, and continuously monitor sensitive data in any environment. Specifically, there is high demand for the zero trust data security platform that includes Fasoo Enterprise Digital Rights Management (Fasoo Enterprise DRM, FED) and Fasoo Data Radar (Fasoo Data Radar, FDR), as well as the multi-cloud data security posture management solution Fasoo DSPM.
Roy Toe, CEO of Terra International, noted, "The partnership with Fasoo is an essential choice for Terabyte Group's mission to supply the latest cybersecurity technology to Southeast Asia," adding that "Fasoo's data-centric security solutions could offer the best choice for clients grappling with increasingly stringent data security compliance."
Song Jong-gon, Executive at Fasoo, said, "In recent years, while demand in Southeast Asia has surged, local clients' expectations have also risen significantly, which has provided an opportunity for Fasoo, equipped with global competitiveness, to accelerate market expansion." He added, "Fasoo will gradually expand from data security to AI-based security solutions and further to enterprise-level private large language model solutions through various locally customized strategies, including the partnership with Terabyte, which has demonstrated outstanding business performance in the ASEAN region."
