The three telecommunications companies (SK Telecom, KT, LG Uplus) have set the public subsidy for Apple's new budget model, the iPhone 16e, which is set to launch on the 28th, at a maximum of 250,000 won.

According to industry sources on the 23rd, the public subsidy for the iPhone 16e will range from 45,000 to 250,000 won, depending on the plan. When adding the additional subsidy from distribution companies (15% of the public subsidy), the maximum support amount will be 287,500 won.

KT is supporting between 60,000 and 250,000 won, showing the largest scale of public subsidy. SK Telecom will offer between 45,000 and 138,000 won, and LG Uplus will provide between 52,000 and 230,000 won. However, this is a preliminary public subsidy, which may change afterwards.

The iPhone 16e will be officially launched on the 28th. It will be available in white and black colors, with storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The starting price will be 990,000 won.
