KT announced on the 23rd that it will participate in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, held in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3 to 6, to showcase South Korea's AI technology. Under the theme 'K-STREET,' KT will provide a special experience integrated with AI technology as visitors stroll through Korean streets.

KT's exhibition hall will be located in Hall 4 of the main exhibition area at MWC 2025, within the GSMA themed pavilion 'Connected Industry,' and will be expanded to 383 square meters, 1.7 times larger than last year. KT will set up seven themed spaces that combine K-culture and AI to inform international visitors about South Korea's advanced technology and culture.

The 'K-Office,' inspired by the KT Gwanghwamun Building WEST, will unveil an AI agent solution that helps improve work efficiency using K-AI models. Various features can be experienced firsthand, including wireless market competition analysis, efficient GPU allocation processes, carbon emissions monitoring, and knowledge recommendations for customer service representatives.

In the 'K-Stadium', a concept space representing future arenas, KT DS, a group company, will present a stadium announcer using real-time AI translation technology. Additionally, a welcome message created with the optimized movements and voice of national soccer player Lee Kang-in can be experienced, along with a dedicated cheering song produced by AI for the KT Wiz.

The 'K-Lab' space, which introduces future network technologies, will present the vision for KT's network. Visitors will have the chance to experience 'multimodal currency,' a future telecommunication service. 'Multimodal currency service' refers to a service where AI understands intent and context, providing communication through existing voice, video, and immersive (five-sense) calls.

Meanwhile, technologies that implement safe streets will also be showcased. Various security technologies, including the 5G precise positioning technology 'EL SAR,' anti-smishing and spam blocking technologies, and AI-based video analysis solutions will be unveiled. A space to introduce the AI technology of partner company Mobifil is also prepared. The KT AICT collaboration hall will have a dedicated booth in Hall 8 to showcase the AICT technologies of KT's partner startups.

Yoon Tae-sik, Executive Director of KT's Brand Strategy Office, noted that 'KT is a leading AICT company in South Korea,' adding that 'this year’s MWC has been newly configured as a showcase space to experience the global competitiveness of K-AI.' He also stated, 'We will continue to expand branding programs that allow people to enjoy and experience AI in everyday life.'
