LG Electronics announced on the 20th that it will strengthen its global built-in appliance market strategy by giving its ultra-premium built-in kitchen appliance brand "Signature Kitchen Suite" a new look as "SKS."

LG Electronics' "Signature Kitchen Suite," launched in 2016, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

LG Electronics explained that it will change the brand name to "SKS," while inheriting the existing built-in brand philosophy of "infusing authenticity into cooking."

LG Electronics will showcase an expanded SKS lineup at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2025, the largest kitchen and bath exhibition, to be held from 25th to 27th (local time) in Las Vegas, USA. KBIS represents the latest trends in kitchen and bath products, attracting built-in appliance customers from around the world, including interior professionals, kitchen designers, and architects.

At this exhibition, LG Electronics will unveil a concept product featuring a hidden induction cooktop and an integrated hood in an island system for the first time. It suggests a "total space solution" that goes beyond simple products to provide appliance solutions for the overall interior of kitchen spaces.

The hidden induction cooktop installed under the table remains invisible during regular use and only lights up when cooking. The integrated hood can be stored under the countertop when not in use, and its air curtain technology directs smoke and steam generated during cooking to the lower ventilation ports for removal.

LG Electronics will also introduce a 36-inch "CookZone Free Induction Pro Range." This product features all-free induction, which automatically recognizes the size and position of the cookware, regardless of where it is placed. Additionally, it is equipped with an oven underneath, allowing for various cooking processes to occur simultaneously. This is the first time all-free induction has been applied to a pro range.

The "Gourmet AI" technology applied to the product analyzes ingredients through an internal oven camera, allowing the AI to recommend personalized recipes. Customers can watch the cooking process inside the oven in real-time through the LG ThinQ app and save videos and photos.

LG Electronics' Home Appliance & Air Solution Company President Ryu Jae-cheol noted, "We will continuously enhance our competitiveness in the built-in market, a crucial pillar of our B2B business, by promoting the differentiated value of our newly revamped ultra-premium built-in appliance brand 'SKS.'"
