STC Lab, a traffic and resource management solutions corporation, announced on the 20th that it has signed a contract to provide the server virtual waiting room solution "NetFunnel" with the U.S. ticketing platform Ticketon.
Ticketon is an online ticketing platform based in Los Angeles, California. It mainly sells tickets for performances, sports, and movies aimed at the Hispanic community. The site also sells various official merchandise through its fan shop section. Due to the increased traffic and the need for stable operations during ticket openings for popular concerts and large-scale events, they decided to implement NetFunnel.
Since December of last year, the two companies conducted a test (PoC) with the NetFunnel account for five weeks, and they have fully implemented NetFunnel at Ticketon starting this month. NetFunnel is a solution that manages queues in real-time, controlling traffic. With the implementation of NetFunnel, Ticketon can prevent potential downtime that may occur when traffic surges, ensuring a more stable and seamless ticketing environment. This enhances operational efficiency while securing service stability.
Park Hyung-jun, CEO of STC Lab, said, "We have proven the competitiveness of NetFunnel in the U.S. market and laid an important foundation for global market expansion," adding, "We will support the complete assurance of stability in situations with high traffic, including ticketing, from anywhere in the world."
