LG Uplus and Shinsegae Food's NOBLAND burger announced on the 19th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to digitalize store operations and promote mutual growth with franchise owners.

Through this agreement, LG Uplus plans to provide communication services for smart store operations, including internet, artificial intelligence (AI) phones, and intelligent CCTV, to assist franchisees in operating efficiently.

In addition, NOBLAND burger has managed to reduce the investment cost for building networks in stores by approximately 1 million won and plans to lower the monthly communication service fee by about 70%, allowing franchise owners to enhance their revenue.

LG Uplus and NOBLAND burger plan to continuously enhance various collaborations to lower the initial investment burden for franchise owners and secure revenue for successful store operations.

Kim Gyu-sik, executive director in charge of FC at Shinsegae Food, said, “We expect that through collaboration with LG Uplus, we can accelerate the digitalization of franchise operations and provide customers with an improved brand experience.”

Kim Hyun-min, executive director in charge of northern metropolitan corporate clients at LG Uplus, stated, “Through this agreement, we plan to continuously support the realization of digital innovation in the foodservice industry, ensuring that franchise owners can secure stable store operations and revenue.”
